Termites are constantly foraging for food and moisture, make sure the weep holes around the perimeter of the house are not covered by soil, garden mulch or debris, all untreated timbers is kept off the soil; all timbers in contact with the ground and house are mounted in steel stirrups or have ant capping fixed. 

Do not store timber in the subfloor and make sure that the hot water overflow is directed away from the external wall or into a drain, address any leaking taps or excessive moisture against the external walls or in the subfloor.

Most importantly if you find Termites in the house:
Do not disturb them.
Do not spray them with fly spray.
Stay calm and call Eclipse Pest Control.

Have your house inspected annually for termites.
