Be aware of and constantly check under outdoor furniture and the kids toys left outside, around flower pots and containers, garage doors and metal sheds.
Fleas love sandy dry soils, so where possible keep the dogs from getting under the house, make sure you treat pets monthly with an approved product like Frontline, and wash the pets bedding frequently in hot water.
